Today is my first day in Cambodia, David was the one who fetch us from airport. Being welcome generously by MC from Cambodia when I reach MC house. Jack told us the intention to have the international faci is for pipeline development. Lol. We spend first night together to have our hotpot, and finally having face to face discussion with Maggie and Elmaw regarding their expectation of the session. Basically for my session I will still need to amend and yesterday was a good night for me to do something on it. Slept at 3am yesterday after finish designing the slide for first session.
Day 2 in MC house

Wake up at 8.30am today, 9am going for check in session and went for the conference place to take a look. Be in the same tuk tuk with Jack, Brigi, Maggie, Zoe and Lauren. Jack is very engaging and tell a lot about the MC stuff there. The place was super cool and super duper amazing because it’s spacious and big. They even have swimming pool outside of conference hall. After that we go for a boat noodle shop to eat chicken leg rice, it was pretty nice and big portion. After that is wet run, and being able to see how MC do their work despite they have super a lot of tasks on hand. (need to handle a lot of session, be the agenda manager, planning for RnR, and some replanning thingy). After the wet run, I generally get the idea for each session outline. After that, we went to Russian market for dinner take away, they only have fried chicken and some spring roll for dinner only. Me and Ameerul brought a lot because we have money hahahha. ( ps: thanks MJ for bringing us there!)
Day 3 - Conference Day 1

Third day morning we started to travel there on 7am, Maggie woke up earlier and went to help us take away coffee. Was in a same tuk tuk with Lauren, Zoe and Elmaw. The most interesting conversation that I have is about the language usage in China, Indonesia and Cambodia itself. The usage of mother tongue in their own operation is very common but when it comes to operation or conference, English is still being prioritise. And I appreciate back the diversity in Malaysia, and the importance of English usage even in operation to show the respect towards the multicultural country.
Here comes the first day of the conference, manage to have a full wet run before the session with Elmaw. After that, I realised I already reached a state that the session design already good and I have nothing to add on or polish anymore. That was an amazing feeling actually because I think everything is well prepared and we’ll coordinate. Care for Cambodia went well and I get some idea on how to conduct a session like this in the future. And here comes to my session, there is a small problem where when it comes to David part, he actually do not understand what I mean and the session delivery went a bit haywire as it becomes a bit dull. But ya, I tried to wrap it back in the debrief and I hope it turns up to be good. Had a conversation with Jack as well about this and he said that, just improve next time regarding the session. Another accident of the day is, my power back actually broken and from now onwards need to use external wire for charging already. Generally first day went well even though opening plenary start on the last session of day 1 but it’s smooth. In day 1, I appreciate Elmaw for started the topic regarding the reason of accepting me as faci. Due to consideration of diversity, she choose me and Meerul due to our different delivery style and personality, she said she can see people through eyes and I am a perfectionist while Ameerul is more to a chill person. And due to the personality difference, it turns out to have a good ending in recruitment. Had a really great night talk with her regarding her values and her belief and her perception of perfectionist. (I feel very connected lah actually).
Day 4- Conference Day 2

Here comes day 2, my AIESEC Value session was being carried out quite haywire as well due to the CC late preparation of material. However, I am still appreciating them for being agile and helpful to prepare the material. Today, Ameerul, Brigi, Zoe, Liny, Pirumna and Leng Zai actually helped me up and I appreciate that for their agility. The second session is a plenary session with Rithik, I think the message is clear to the audience and a lot of then actually able to found their own strength. The morning plenary asked us to play groups games and there is also external panel discussion, for the chance to talk with Linda and An (FTU HCMC) because coincidentally they are in the same tribe as me. Hoho
Moving on to Day 2 night, it’s CC night and we have schooling by using real beer. Cc night is basically a performance night and schooling night. After that, all of the faci go to the room party of each LC. Jack basically hosted all of the games with hot seat and every LCs are just crazy because they drink quite a lot because beer is like water in Cambodia.
Day 5- Conference Day 3

Day 3, half of the conference left. Today is Ameerul’s busiest day because he have 2 sessions today. So today me and Elmaw hosted one Sales Session and the rating is quite high. It’s a skill base session and just need to practice. I am glad as it goes well in general. Day 3 night is the award night, it was happy to see WP be the best LC because Rithik did share with me that he is worry of how other people look at him as a current LCP. But he did it! And I can connected to his story because it’s something that he share with me during preparation of lead session. Lauren is leaving tonight but the tuk tuk that MJ order for her is not reaching until 10pm, ( her flight at 12am) so Zoe is kinda panicked and I helped her to call CC and finally order one tuk tuk for her to go to airport. And luckily she manage to board successfully on time.
Day 3 night was super tiring and I didn’t manage to go to any room party because I am physically exhausted. Managed to try helium balloons with Maggie and Jack and MJ bought us some siew mai as well. I slept at 3am that day, and it was quite unconscious because I don’t know how I get to bed. Met Chermeng and another guy as well.
Day 6- Conference Day 4

Day 4- last day of conference. Finished the product marketing session with Ameerul quite early, and I think I didn’t done very well in term of acting as coffee shop man. And after that is the session with MJ, the atmosphere setting is not that well and I am actually unsure whether it meet the objective or not. After that is the closing plenary and go back home after. We had a good bbq (hotpot) as dinner and then going back to MC office. That night we had the happy pizza at riverside, stroll around Royal Palace and met Linda and Ann again!
Day 7
Day 5 - no conference but Zoe birthday
Wake up quite late. Send Maggie off. Stroll with Zoe and Ameerul to Brown and Starbucks and some random gelato to kill the morning time. Had our late lunch at a steakhouse near MC house, then we go to Eleven cafe for fish amok. Thank you Jack for being such a generous and welcoming soul as MCP of AIESEC in Cambodia. After that we go to central market, and royal palace again. Stroll around there and go for a drink. After that we meet Moly and Piseth (like finally), walk for 10mins, reach a place that sell seafood but not that nice, and we had our dinner there. After that come back to the Mekong Panorama, Zoe already half drunk. Had some celebration with Zoe there as well. Then we go back to MC house already. Write the sugar cube to every MC and had a very meaningful conversations with Jack on David until the whole picture of career planning, experience sharing and mutual understanding.
Day 8

Day 6- last day. Send Zoe off in the morning and met Ruby at Brown coffee. Had a great talk and after that, going to Russia Market with MeiJen, Rithik, David, Elmaw and Ameerul to buy souvenirs. After that we went back to MC house to take luggage and have our last dinner at MAP cafe. Food was nice, Jack send us from MC house, and Elmaw, Rithik and MeiJen send us to the airport. David say bye to us after our lunch. And I slept on the tuk tuk to airport because I am too tired after eating. And that’s it. Coming back to KL, had a talk with Ameerul, realising that I didn’t do a job as a best friend that well, and I am very regret. He is the one who take me to this opportunity and I didn’t even appreciate him or accompany him.
