The obedient difficulty

“Samuel lay there until morning; then he opened the doors of the house of the Lord. Samuel was afraid to tell the vision to Eli.” 1 Samuel 3:15

God never say words to us madly. God’s way is often misunderstood. We often say:” I don’t know whether this voice is from the Lord.” Isiah said that he felt God’s heavy hands, which means that God led him through the environment’ s press. If there are not God’s great hands, nothing can happen in our lives. Can we identity God’s hands? or we think that It is only an accidental dream?

Our life will be colorful if we form the habit to say that “God, please speak.” We should say “God, please speak” every time. We need to take time to listen quietly. Discipline is not practice, but it will bring us to higher step, so that we can say:” God, please speak.” Now, we will recall God’s words to us. Can we remember what God said? We need to hear more, then our ears can be opened, like Jesus can hear God’s voice at any time. 

Whether should we tell Eli the enlightenment from God? If we have this doubt, we will face the obedient difficulty. If we think Eli is one of our familiar and kind person, we will follow our own feeling to do things. In this way, we will disobey God’s will. From the scriptures, God didn’t ask Samuel telling Eli, but he should make the decision by himself. God’s calling for us may hurt our Eli, but if we can’t deal with the relationship, there will be a septal nucleus between we and God. if we would not like to cut down our right hand, pluck the eye out, we will be insulting ourselves, and we will be destroyed. 

We need to remember that if God asks us to make any decision, we can’t consult other’s opinion. If we consult the others’ opinion, almost we stand on the same place with devil. Paul said: “I don’t consult with the flesh person. “
