说到猴子人们就会想到它上窜下跳、好动不安分的样子。英语中也有很多跟猴子有关表达，跟皮卡丘学起来吧！
1、monkey around
这个习惯用语跟猴子活泼好动的特点有关，在monkey around里monkey是当动词用的。我们见到猴子老在东蹦西跳、攀上爬下似乎忙得不亦乐乎，却又搞不出个名堂来。
这个表达可以用来指有些人老爱干些无聊的事儿；他们乐在其中，却是徒劳无益。
例句：
You boys better not monkey around when I'm gone.
你们这些小家伙最好别在我走的时候四处捣蛋。
但是有时候monkey around表示的意思比无聊还要严重。所作所为不仅毫无意义，而且还会惹是生非。
例句：
It is dangerous to monkey around in the workshop.
在车间里胡闹是危险的。
2、monkey business
这可不是指跟猴子有关的业务！monkey 猴子， business 是指做生意或办什么事。但是 monkey 和 business 两个字合在一起用的时候，它们的意思就变了。
monkey business 是指不道德或不合法的行为，往往是偷偷摸摸和具有欺骗性的行为，例如盗用公款等。
例句：
"The newspapers say there's a lot of monkey business going on at city hall, with officials getting money under the table from people who want the contract to build the new airport."
这句话的意思是：“有些报纸说，市政府里有许多见不得人的事，有的营造商为了从市政府获得建造新机场的合同而偷偷地用钱贿赂市政府的官员。”
monkey business 不一定指当官的人贪污腐化，一般人当中也可能出现不轨行为。
例如：
Two men were trying to sell cheap car radios in the pub, but the landlord warned them that he didn't want any monkey business on his premises.
有两个人试图在小酒店里廉价出售汽车收音机，但店主警告他们，在他的店里决不允许有任何非法交易。
