提起猫山皇榴莲，大家的第一个感觉就是“贵”。确实，许多朋友都表示说，想吃榴莲，还是选择一般超市都能买到的“金枕头”比较实惠。现今淘宝上，“猫山皇＂果肉价格都要200多至300元一斤。某些低于这个价钱的，老黃敢说，几乎绝不可能是来自马来西亚的进口真货。
When it comes to Musang King durian, the first word that comes to mind is "Expensive!" Indeed, many would not disagree that if you wanted to eat durian, you should probably go for the "Golden Pillow" instead because the price is more reasonable. Nowadays, on Taobao, the price of Musang King durian pulpis more than 200 to 300 RMB per 0.5 kg.
近日，瑞南优选 进口一批正宗马来西亚＂猫山皇＂榴莲。果肉比一般榴莲品种要更加金黄诱人，散发着浓郁果香。我迫不及待大快朵颐。但其实再好吃的东西，也要食用适量，细细品尝才是王道。
在这里，我要和各位亲介绍一款“猫皇＂榴莲的吃法。那就是：不妨取少量榴莲果肉配上椰子酱汁做成香喷喷的榴莲糯米饭。这样子，一颗昂贵的猫山皇你可以多吃几次并与更多人分享。
Since Musang king durian is not only pricey but also very rich in flavor, so I thought it’d be good to make a dessert using this fruit pulp. With a small amount, you could enjoy its taste and sharing it with more people.And it’s sweet sticky rice with durian.
自制貓山皇榴莲糯米飯
材料：
泰国糯米150克、猫山皇榴莲果肉带核250克、椰奶250克、白砂糖适量、盐适量以及绿豆脆。
Ingredients:
150g of glutinous rice, 250g of durian pulp, 250g of coconut milk, sugar, salt and crispy mung bean
步骤：
1. 前一天晚上将糯米洗净以后放入1/4茶匙的盐并用冷水浸泡。
1. Wash the glutinous rice the night before and put in 1 / 4 teaspoon salt and soak the rice in cold water.
2. 蒸锅水烧开，铺上湿布，米倒上面铺开，中间挖个坑，让蒸汽从中间上，湿布盖上，盖上锅盖煮40分钟即可。
2. Steam the glutinous rice for 40 minutes.
3. 制作椰奶汁：在锅内倒入130克椰奶以中小火加热，加入盐5克、白砂糖50克，充分搅拌溶化以后关火，注意火候不要把椰奶煮到大滚。把蒸好的糯米倒入一个锅里，加入制作好的椰奶汁搅拌均匀，盖上盖子焖20分钟。
3. To make coconut milk: heat 130g coconut milk in a small saucepan, add 5g salt and 50g white sugar, stir and dissolve it fully, then turn off the fire. Pour the steamed glutinous rice into a pot, add the coconut milk and stir well, cover for 20 minutes.
4. 制作榴莲椰浆：椰浆120克，盐3克、白糖30克。中小火煮滚，边煮边顺着一个方向搅拌。煮开后加入榴莲，搅拌约一分钟即可。
4. To make durian coconut milk: put 120g coconut milk, 3g salt and 30g sugar in a saucepan. Boil over medium low heat. Pour into a bowl and then add the durian.
5. 按个人喜好在糯米饭面撒上脆黄豆粒或椰丝。
5. Sprinkle some crispy mung bean over the rice and it’s ready to serve with the durian in sauce.
不带刺的星星形状图
猫山皇是马来西亚特有的榴莲品种，是榴莲中的极品，培养起来需要10年左右时间，还要十分小心的打理。它的果粒个头小小的，小于所有其它榴莲品种，并且在“屁股”那里有一个较明显——不带刺的——星星形状图案，可以用做鉴别真假猫山皇的符号。
Musang King durian is originated from Malaysia. Some say it tastes the best out of all durian varieties in the world. A durian tree takes about 10 years to cultivate, and it has to be carefully managed. Its fruit size is small, smaller than all other durian varieties, and there is a quite obvious star shape pattern in the "buttock", which can be used as a symbol to identify whether it’s true Musang King durian.
大多数榴莲品种在刚打开的时候会飘出一股特立独行的“香臭”味，也就是让多数人觉得“榴莲很臭”的那股气味；只有在品尝到果肉以后才知其好味道。
Most durian varieties will give a unique not so easy to accept fragrance when they are just opened, only after tasting the pulp would they know its good taste.
猫山皇榴莲则不同，从你看到它、触摸它、剪开它到把果肉放进嘴里吃完的全过程，都只会闻到一股异常浓郁的果香，香味浓到化也化不开，就这样飘逸在你四周、让整间屋子生香。猫山王榴莲比其它榴莲品种吃起来更加鲜甜，果肉结实但是嫩滑，饱满多汁，吃过以后唇齿间留有香味。
Musang King durian is different. From when you see it, cutting it open to putting the pulp into your mouth and tasting it, you would only be delighted by a very strong fruit fragrance. Often times the fragrance is too thick to go away, so it fills the room with a fresh fruit smell as well. In my view, Musang king durian is more delicious and sweet than other durian varieties. Its flesh is firm but tender and juicy. After eating, there is an after taste of sweetness lingering on in your mouth.
猫山皇榴莲果肉还含有非常丰富的营养。据说，“一颗榴莲3只鸡”。猫山皇榴莲却有 “一颗榴莲6只鸡” 的说法。它含有大量丰富的多种维生素、矿物质铁、钾、镁以及蛋白质。当然，它也很肥人，吃多了卡路里爆表！这段时间，我吃了几次榴莲以后，体重也跟着成正比上涨。
Musang king is also rich in nutrients. Some say its nutritional value is equal to that of 6 chickens. It is rich in a variety of vitamins, protein and minerals including iron, potassium and magnesium. But it can be fattening if you indulge in it too much.

这么好吃的猫山皇当然不好栽种：一棵＂猫山皇＂榴莲樹数需要种10年左右，并且悉心打理。榴莲庄主在每一棵猫山皇榴莲树下围一个网，让每一颗猫皇在果树上完全自然成熟后自动脱蒂落入准备好的网中，而非靠人手采摘。
It's certainly not easy to grow this delicious Musang king durian! A Musang king tree needs to be planted for about 10 years and carefully managed. The way of picking this durian is also time consuming. The owner of the durian farm encloses a net underneath each durian tree, and the ripened fruits can automatically fall into the prepared net. Hand picking is never used. So it naturally tastes better!
