什么叫做 Texting/E-mail Abbreviations 呢？就是在发短信或邮件的时候用到的简写。那什么又叫简写呢？最简单的例子: OMG = Oh My God

那么这篇邮件中出现的简写又到底有什么意思呢？
Xmas stands for (表示) Christmas (圣诞节)；Xmas Eve stands for Christmas Evening (平安夜)。
AKA stands for Also Known As (也被叫作)，be known as 的意思就是被称为。
ASAP stands for As Soon As Possible (越快越好),通常用在邮件中，as... as possible这个结构就是越...越好的意思。
BTW stands for By The Way (顺便说下),不是宝马的嫡亲哦。
FYI stands for For Your Information (为了给你更多信息; 也可以理解为另外)。
邮件或是短信中使用以上这些简写是非常trendy(时髦)的一件事。它们的涌现也是语言发展过程中非常 monumental (里程碑式的)事件呢。
