Today i chose a book which Melon and i have read long time ago, the book’s name was “ABC”, very simple and easy to remember.

Today i drank a little bit with my father in law, to be honest, i chose this book by random. I read this book to Melon when he was 1 and a half years old, he liked the pics at that time, but to the words, i wasn’t sure he was sensitive about them.

When i started reading the book, everything went to a good way which i was quite surprised. The 1st page went to “A is for apple”, he knew the word and said it out loud, “b is for balloon”, he also knew the word “balloon” before i said it. “C is for cow”, he knew the cow and also said the english name and chinese name. During the story time, he almost knew 70% of the names, i thought that was amazing. The most exciting thing was when i read the book, he was very interested and very motivated and active to do some movements according to the pics. Besides i found that maybe he liked the pics coz the animals there were so cartoon and cute.

When he noticed some pics he most liked, he would jump and say that word, when he said the “r is for rabbit”, he liked the rabbit, and he was the rabbit was rowing the boat, he then sang the song “row row row ur boat, gently down the stream”, i really could feel the happiness from his eyes and from his heart. When we read the last page, it turned to “z is for zoo”, he told me that he wanted to go too the zoo to visit the animals there. Tonight’s reading time was so memorizing and i loved it.
