    新概念英语第二册 Lesson 20: One man in a boat

    Fishing is my favorite sport. I often fish for hours without catching anything. But this does not worry me. Some fishermen are unlucky. Instead of catching fish, they catch old boots and rubbish. I am even less lucky. I never catch anything - not even old boots. After having spent whole mornings on the river, I always go home with an empty bag. "You must give up fishing!" my friends say. "It's a wast of time." But they don't realize one important thing. I'm not really interested in fishing. I am only interested in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all!

　　（2）使变为事实，使发生（常用于被动语态）：

　　（3）认识，知道，明白，意识到：

　　I went into the wrong room without realizing it.

　　I hope you realize that you've made a big mistake.

　　realize 和understand表示这个意思时有时可以互换，有时则不可以。在上面的例句中，第1句不可用 understand，第2句则可以。又如：

　　I an did not understand English. 伊恩不懂英语。（不可用 realize）

Thoughts: 每日精进就是确认自己的朗读首先自己挑不出问题了（朗读+复述）。

注意朗读的时候有些单词的发音在练习的时候是能够由精力注意发音的，但是放到文章中就容易忘记，关键在于练习的时候就多加练习达到肌肉记忆的程度，从而能保证在文章中发音的时候就自然发出来了。
