With the advance of Chinese reform and opening up, there are more and more chances to communicate between Chinese and foreigner. At the same time, Chinese go abroad to gain knowledge and new skills are easier than before.
After I have seen the movie named < GuaSa >I had found there are much different between China and America. Particularly in culture which are a great difference between China and America. In the movie when DaTong Xu carried of a prise in game design, after the award ceremony his child had some dispute with his American friend's child. What the surprising is that DaTong Xu struck his child right now which had let his friend very confused. In this fragment, we could find that there is a great difference between the Chinese and the American. After that DaTong Xu explained "I want to give you my face and show my respect to you", this reflected a Chinese culture "Teaching your child to his face and your wife to her back."But in America this is unreasonable, on account that everybody has his right of dignity, in other words, America is an individualism and a capitalism country. On the contrary, our motherland is a collective and socialism country.
There's another great difference between America and China,because America is a country which everybody is equal, however China is a respect for the seniority country. This reality we could find in this movie. In the fragment which DaTong Xu's family are having a meal, his child intended to eat first but his father stopped him educated saying "The old is preferred". There is no doubt that if someone had said this word to an Amercian, the American must feel astonished.The reason is that everybody is equal in their country.
After I have seen this movie, much great difference is coming which has showed different countries have different cultures. All of us should respect each other's cultures, but at the first time we should observe the law where you are staying.
