【译】1月17日：任意妄为的罪

1月17日；
民数记 15:22-31；
唱诗：诗篇 19:66

求你拦阻仆人，不犯任意妄为的罪。不容这罪辖制我。我便完全，免犯大罪。（诗篇 19:13）

昨天，我们读了诗篇19章12节，有关“隐而未现的过错”，明白了我们无法完全知晓自己堕落的程度。而今天的经文讲的是 “任意妄为的罪”，那些我们充分了解，却又故意去犯的罪。

在民数记15章30节中，我们读到有关胆大妄为的罪。 从字面上来看，意思是说：“用高举的手犯罪”。就像一个人向天空，或周围的人举起拳头，表现出一种藐视罪的态度。这种任意妄为的罪不是无心或意外犯下的，因为那个人是充分了解神话语的，他是故意犯罪。

在民数记15章中，我们看到，任何故意犯罪亵渎神的人都必须从神的民中被剪除，被逐出教会。这就解释了为什么耶稣基督必须在耶路撒冷城外被处决。基督在十字架上的受死受难就是最终极的驱逐。

任意妄为的罪还会在罪人的身上滋长。我们与这种罪为伍的时间越长，就越被它所捆绑，难以挣脱。任意妄为的罪也是对基督的十字架，对他的受难和受死的否定与拒绝。

在诗篇19: 13节中，我们祈祷到 “不容这罪辖制[我们]”。我们必须有意识地将神的话应用在生活中，并努力按他的话去行。尤其要对付那些在生活中占主导地位的罪，具体地来说，就是要认出它们，去除它们。在基督里，我们就能够战胜人的软弱，并在圣洁中成长。

WILLFUL SINS

Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. (Psalm 19:13)

Yesterday, we looked at Psalm 19:12, which speaks about "hidden faults." We understand this to mean the depth of our depravity, unknown even to ourselves. Today's verse, however, speaks about "willful sins," those we do on purpose, with full knowledge.

In Numbers 15:30, we read about sinning defiantly. Literally, the text reads, "sinning with a high hand." It is like raising a fist to heaven or to people around us in a show of defiance that indicates a care-not attitude towards sin. Sinning defiantly is never done unintentionally or by accident, because the sinner knows God's Word very well and still does what is forbidden.

In Numbers 15, we find that anyone who sins defiantly blasphemes the LORD and must be cut off from God's people. Defiant sinners are to be excommunicated. This explains why our Lord Jesus Christ had to be executed outside the city of Jerusalem. His crucifixion was the ultimate act of excommunication.

Willful sins also tend to grow on the sinner. The longer we live with defiant sin, the more it begins to control us, and we cannot break loose. Willful sins are a denial of Christ's cross, his suffering and death.

In Psalm 19:13, we pray that willful sins "may not rule our [us]." We must consciously apply God's Word to our lives and seek to do what he says. We must especially deal with sins that appear dominant in our lives. Be specific. Identify and remove them. In Christ it is possible to conquer human weakness and to grow in holiness.
